All NQTs have a statutory entitlement to a well structured, monitored and supportive Induction year. This provides the transition between Initial Teacher Training and a full career in teaching.
As an Alliance we want the teachers who are starting their careers with us to be well supported and be able to develop into highly effective teachers. Together with schools we can put the structure for this into place.
In return NQTs have a responsibility to adopt a professional, reflective and self-evaluative manner and approach to their work.
We believe that the full package we offer can ensure that the outcomes for our newest teachers will be fulfilling both for them, their schools and the young people in their care.
