​     Teacher Conference for 2021
Due to the current COVID restrictions it has been decided to postpone this year's Conference until the Autumn Term 2021.
Details will be available here and sent to schools in the new academic year 2021/22.

​SENCo Net Meetings 2020/21

These efficient termly twilight meetings have been running successfully for over 15 years and are well attended by
mainstream primary and secondary SENCos who value them as an opportunity to keep up to date with national and local developments related to SEN/D and to share local good practice.
Held on-line for the Autumn and Spring Terms and at a Special School in your area in the Summer Terms (restrictions allowing). 
The meetings cost £25/£40 per school per meeting - SENCos and one extra additional member of staff can attend. - refreshments included.. 
Where appropriate- for meetings switched to on-line, refunds will be made to schools in the Summer Term.

National SENCO Award 

A nationally recognised award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo), run in conjunction with University of Northampton. 
Completion of the course has been mandatory for the teacher designated as SENCo since 2009. New SENCOs must gain this qualification within three years of taking up their SENCo post. 
Training will take place through the University of Northampton.
